Marie Osmond recently opened up to talk about her son Michael – who committed suicide in February 2010.

She told OMG Insider – “I know I’ll see my son again and it’s that kind of faith that gets you through the difficult dark moments. Have I been through dark moments? Absolutely.”

The 53-year-old entertainer – who now has her own talk show called Marie on the Hallmark Channel – added, “Is it difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel? Sometimes it’s very challenging, but I have great hope.

“If I were to say one thing I want to spread through this show and the thing that I do is give people hope. To let them know we all go through it.”

Marie’s son was 18 when he  jumped to his death from his Los Angeles apartment on Feb. 26, 2010. He was reportedly battling depression before he took his own life.

Marie returned to the stage for her Las Vegas show the day after his funeral.

“It was really hard. It was a calculated decision,” she told Oprah. “I’m unique, I guess. I’m a female in the entertainment business who has been working 48 years consistently. My stage is my safe place. It doesn’t scare me, like I guess it scares some people. And I knew that if I didn’t get back on stage that I may never get back on stage.”

I have been watching Marie and her brother for many years as I am the same age as her. She has been through a lot in her lifetime. Marie having faith can get anyone through just about anything. I sure do admire her and hope that she will meet her son again. Love you Marie!

She won’t, but if she thinks so and it gives her comfort, then good for her.
