Mama and actress Jessica Alba realizes that it is important to put her career on the back burner to raise her  two daughters Honor, 4½, and Haven, 18 months.

“I used to work basically 11 and a half months out of the year on location, and now I don’t,” 31-year-old business owner explains. “I’m really much more picky with the roles that I take.”

Whether she is busy working on the movie set or at The Honest Company office, Jessica typically has her two leading ladies in tow.

“I bring them with me,” she says. “[Honor is usually] playing in the kids’ corner and running amuck bothering everyone, throwing paper airplanes at their desks — but they love it!”

“To her, Mommy going to work is her sitting in a trailer and me [filming], or it’s me at my office,” Jessica comments about how her eldest doesn’t quite grasp what her famous mother does for a living. “I think she thinks it’s all my job. She doesn’t know the difference!”

Jessica recently opened up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about her darling daughters.

“Every day with my girls is a dream and just hanging out with them is the best thing ever. They’re happy and healthy 1- and 4-year-olds who like to play, explore, get messy, and are creative. And since they’re typical kiddos, they’re bound to make me laugh.”

Well, basically Jessica doesn’t act anymore, her main job has become the honest company..
Since she had Honor she did just minor things, and since Haven what? Really just about nothing..
Which is fine, but she’s not really an actress, right now.. In the end she always did B-list things, she never had THAT BIG breakout, and then she started having kids.. I suppose this makes her happier than acting! :)

She seems to have a wonderful connection with her children. That’s what life is all about. Isn’t it?

——————————————————————————————————————–Look out Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts, Julie Roberts, et. al. — all the good parts are going to go to Ms. Alba. Could an Oscar be in the cards??

First of all she can’t act and never could she only got parts in the past because of her looks. Hollywood has moved on years ago to the next no talent pretty face. She and Magon Fox are very dalusional about about thier acting skills, both are C listers and think thier A listers.

Exactly.. I mean, I like her, I think she’s lovely and a good mother and one of the healthiest Hollywood people, but she’s never been a great actress.. She had a few years of popularity because she’s hot, but never did one great movie, never had an important role.. She’ll be remembered as one of the many hot latinas and that’s all.
I think that what she’s doing with the Honest company is the most important thing she did so far, job-speaking.. That’s probably her biggest career accomplishment..
