Mario Lopez Is Hoping For A Boy

QVC Red Carpet Style Party in LA

Already dad to adorable daughter Gia Francesca, Mario Lopez admits that he would love to add a little boy to his brood.

“I already have a girl, so if we have a boy that would be nice,” says the X-Factor host, who is expecting baby #2 with his wife Courtney Mazza. “But I won’t be disappointed if we don’t.”

Showing off the beginnings of a bump at this week’s National Hispanic Media Coalition’s 16th annual Impact Awards Gala, the mom-to-be told US Weekly that she’s not too nervous about the idea of another newborn.

“I do feel prepared in a way. although I’m hoping it’s like riding a bike and that I’ll just remember what I did with Gia because now all the newborn stuff she obviously doesn’t need anymore. So I try to think what did I use for this and how did I know that,” Courtney said. “Hopefully it’ll come back to me.”

Boy or girl, the child will be beautiful. So happy for Gia to have a little sibling. She is such a darling little girl.

      You must be a relative.

Personally, I think its strange when people make statements to the press about preferring a boy or girl before they know the sex. If they have a girl she can grow up and read in print that her father was hoping for a boy. Nothing wrong with having a preference… Just not wise to share it with the media unless you already know that’s what you are having.

Ugh, he is so vain. I bet he makes her get on a scale every day and monitors her caloric intake.
