Jessica Simpson & Family: Leaving LA

Jessica Simpson and the Family take flight out of LAX

Expectant mama Jessica Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson were seen arriving at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday (May 3). Eric carried their 1-year-old daughter Maxwell while Jessica was all smiles for the nearby paparazzi.

The pregnant singer-turned-fashion-designer, 32, looked airport-chic in a printed maternity dress and black jacket, accessorized with a bright orange Birkin bag and sky-high peep-toed heels.

The engaged couple recently hosted a fair-themed party to celebrate Maxi’s first birthday on May 1.

Held in the backyard of their Hidden Hills home, 50 guests enjoyed face-painting, coloring tables, beach balls and a children’s band. And not to mention the delicious snacks! Various food stations included hot dogs, grilled cheese, tacos, fresh fruit, lemonade and candy.

“Maxwell had a great time! Everyone was in great spirits,” a source told PEOPLE. “All of her grandparents were there. She loved listening to the band and seeing the other babies!”

Jessica and Eric are set to welcome their second child – a boy! – in the coming weeks.

I really envy all those women who have the ability to wear those high platforms shoes, or high heels in general and walk like wearing tennis shoes.

Should she be flying this late in her pregnancy? Don’t they discourage that?
