Upstaging mama!

While popstar Beyoncé sang Irreplaceable at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday (May 4), 1-year-old daughter Blue Ivy appeared briefly on stage, sporting a white dress and large protective headphones, according to Vibe.com.

The adorable tot held hands with mom – who sparkled in a blue catsuit – as 20,000 fans looked on.

“I am very protective,” Beyoncé told ABC News. “I just want to make sure that [Blue Ivy] can have a healthy, safe, normal life. … In the back of my mind, she’s my priority. And life is completely different now.”

She added: “I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love, and now have a way bigger meaning. And that’s to be her mother.”

According to the singer, baby Blue will have a sibling one day. “I would like more children,” Beyoncé said. “I think my daughter needs some company.”

Last month, we spotted the mother-daughter duo with papa Jay-Z in Paris.

She wasn’t actually on stage. She was on someone’s shoulders. If you watch the whole video, you can see them walk away.

A healthy, safe, and normal life….. And she brings her on stage during a concert for everyone to see and photograph and who knows what else? Doesn’t seem healthy, safe, or normal to me. But, what do I know, I am just a mom raising my kids in a healthy, normal and safe environment outside of “hollywood.”
