The actor, 47, confirmed their baby’s gender at the opening night of the Champs-Elysées Film Festival, where he is serving as this year’s honorary president.
In terms of walking the red carpet in America versus France, Olivier said there is a difference.
“I’m French — it’s less important,” he said.” Meaning, I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture. I feel good there — but I’m still a foreigner.”
He then went on to proudly repeat, “My son will be an American.”
The couple expect their son to arrive this fall.
