To celebrate her baby boy on-the-way, Ali Landry celebrated her third baby shower in Los Angeles on May 31. Hosted by Good Carma Studio, the producers of exclusive celebrity events, the expectant mama and her children – daughter Estela, 5, and son Marcelo, 20 months – looked chic and playful at the fun afternoon soiree.
With a baby boy blue ruffled-theme, guests noshed on party foods from celebrity chef Ameera, cupcakes from Sweet Arleen’s, white wine by Consensio Cellars, and organic lemonade for the non-drinkers.
Party favors included gift cards from GYFT, the new free app that allows you to upload, store, purchase, and send gift cards. In fact, Ali has been using this app to manage her own gift cards, and was excited to share the apps’ benefits and gifts with her friends.
“My baby shower was amazing,” Ali gushed to Celebrity Baby Scoop.
“They say it takes a village to raise a child and because we live in a city where we have no family members, our friends have really become our family,” she continued. “I wanted to have all of the wonderful women there that have really supported me and our family over the years and of course help me to welcome our new baby into the world.”
It sounds like she received a lot of lovely gifts for her baby boy on-the-way.
“My favorite shower gift was my Drop Cam baby monitors,” Ali said. “I will be able to to check up on the children from my cell or my computer wherever I am. I know that will give me such peace of mind especially when I am working.”
As for big brotherhood, it sounds like Marcelo isn’t quite sure what’s in store.
“We are all very excited for the new addition to our family to arrive with the exception of Marcelo who has no idea what is about to happen,” Ali shared. “We try to explain to him about having a baby, and that the baby is living in my belly, but he insists that my my belly is a ball.”
And it sounds like she’s had a joyous pregnancy, once again.
“This pregnancy like my others has been amazing,” she gushed. “The only difference is that Marcelo is still very young, he won’t yet be two when the baby is born, and he is very attached to me and wants to be held most of the time. Holding him with my growing belly has not been the easiest thing, but I just can’t bear to say no to him.”View Slideshow »»
