Congratulations are in order for Shannon Miller and John Falconetti.
The seven-time Olympic medalist and her Drummond Press president husband welcomed their second child, daughter Sterling Diane Falconetti, on Tuesday, June 25, PEOPLE reports.
Their baby girl – who is named for her maternal great-great-grandfather and paternal grandmother – arrived at 11:49 a.m., weighing in at 6 lbs., 15 oz. and measuring 19½ inches long.
“Shannon and John are thrilled to welcome Sterling into the world,” her rep says. “Mom and baby are healthy and doing well.”
The couple are also parents to son Rocco, 3½.
The Olympic mom announced her pregnancy in January following a battle with ovarian cancer, which required surgery to remove her left ovary and the malignant tumor, followed by nine weeks of chemotherapy.
In April 2012, Shannon opened up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about leaving the possibility of baby No. 2 “in God’s hands.”
“In July, I’ll find out the status of having another child,” she shared. “After surgery and chemo I was still given an 85% chance of having children. John and I have done our best to leave it in God’s hands and remain very thankful to have such a wonderful little boy.”
