Busy Philipps Welcomes Baby No. 2

1st Annual Norma Jean Gala

Congratulations to Busy Philipps and her husband Marc Silverstein who welcomed their second daughter on Tuesday (July 2).

The Cougar Town actress announced the news by showing herself cradling her newborn via Twitter on Wednesday (July 3). She writes: “So this happened…”

According to E! News her rep says the baby weighed in at 8 1/2 pounds, and everyone is happy and healthy.

Busy – who also raises nearly 5-year-old Birdie with Marc – recently shared how her second pregnancy was going.

She said, “It’s been good! But I do I feel like I was even happier when I was pregnant with my daughter, Birdie. My husband recently reminded me that it was because I did nothing, all day long. I literally slept and went to prenatal yoga and meditated for nine months. And I ate nonstop! Now I’m stressed. I have to go back to work two months after the baby; I have a 4 year old; and I’m in involved in 47 different things. I can’t say no to anything!”

I was thinking that too!! It’s like she was pregnant forever. I’m happy for her that the baby arrived (do we know the gender yet?)!
      Congratulations :)
