Kate Middleton and Prince William are about to be parents!
“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted this morning to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London in the early stages of labour,” reads an official statement from Kensington Palace. “The Duchess traveled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge.”
With Prince William by her side, Kate was in the early stages of labour when she was admitted to the hospital just before 6 a.m.
Shortly after the royal couple arrived, a loud clap of thunder was heard over west London.
A royal aide tells Us, “things are progressing normally” with the labour, which she went into naturally. Kensington Palace, the source adds, chose to wait until the Duchess was in the Lindo Wing — safe, comfortable and seen by medical staff — before making the statement.
The Duchess entered the hospital via the Cambridge entrance — the same entrance the late Princess Diana went through when she delivered Prince William back in 1982. The Lindo Wing staff says in an official statement: “Everyone at the trust is exceptionally proud that this historic moment is happening here”
Our thoughts are with the royal couple and we can’t wait to hear the happy news!
