Carnie Wilson & Family: Local Food Shoppin’

Carnie Wilson is all smiles with her family at the Farmer's Market

Carnie Wilson and her husband Rob Bonfiglio took their daughters Lola, 8, and Luci, 4, to the farmers market in Studio City, Calif. on Sunday (July 21).

The girls rode on ponies and helped shop for fruit and veggies.

Carnie has been open about her weight. She once told FOX News, “I’ve had so much stress in the last year, so it’s really a struggle. I’m definitely up in weight. I’m looking forward to getting an exercise routine again. It’s like a daily decision.”

“I can’t smoke a joint. I can’t have a glass of wine because I want 10 joints and 10 glasses of wine. That’s my obsessive compulsive and addictive behavior. I’ve really struggled since I’ve become sober.”

She’s been on Food Network’s Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off and appeared on Celebrity Wife Swap - a show she shared that she felt apprehensive to be in.

The singer admitted, “I was nervous for my children. Sometimes reality T.V. can be stressful. I didn’t want them to be exposed to any pressure or Hollywood weirdness. [My husband] Rob and I were a bit apprehensive. We knew it was going to get personal. We were going to be compared to their parenting styles, the marriage, the lifestyle, whatever. We knew we were going to feel a little bit vulnerable. We were willing to take the risk because something cathartic always happens, there’s always good lessons learned and you know it keeps me on T.V. and pays the bills.”

I hate to see her older daughter heading down the same path she did. It is so hard to lose the weight when you get older and seeing her headed for a lifetime of struggle with her weight just makes me a little sad.
