Pink: Willow Is The Coolest Thing That Has Ever Happened To Me

Pink & Family Enjoying The Day In Venice Beach

Pink says having Willow is the “coolest thing” that’s happened with husband Carey Hart.

She tells Australia’s GQ, “I had moments where I wanted a kid with Carey. You know — you fall in love and you’re like, ‘We should have kids,’ and then it went away. But he always wanted kids and then we did it and now it’s like, ‘F—, this is so rad.’ It’s more important than anything we’ve done.”

She adds of their 2-year-old, “She’s the coolest thing that has ever happened to me – she’s really ‘F–ing cheeky and funny. She’s just totally rearranged my view on life and my outlook, in every way and shape possible. I’m still a little bit nuts and I still have a really good time, and I still am me. But I wake up and start the day with a cuddle and that is the best thing in the world. My mother was so happy I had a girl, because she said then I would understand what she went through with me. I’ll have to wait until she’s a teenager.”

The Just Give Me A Reason singer is still feeling like Alecia Moore.

“My life hasn’t changed much. I mean, I could do without the paparazzi taking photos of my child. But I tour, I write songs, I go through the same s— as everybody else. I’ve never enveloped myself in that, ‘I’m a f—— rockstar, I’m important,’ thing. I don’t get it — either you’re a good person or you’re not.”

I used to love Pink, since she had a child, I don’t. Now all I see is her telling her husband she hates him, and her husband saying she puts him down and makes him sad, and she said Willow once knocked herself out while she was watching her and says, “Fuck.” I don’t know. All of this to me screams bad parent.

I love Pink, even more so since she became a parent. The way she speaks about Willow, you can tell her world revolves around her. She and her husband seem very happy these days. They separated a few years ago but worked through it, got back together and made a family. Not sure what you’re referring to when you say she’s a bad parent?!
