Teri Hatcher brought her 15-year-old daughter Emerson to the Planes premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, Calif. on Monday (August 5). The Desperate Housewives actress plays the voice of Dottie in the animated flick.
Teri recently said in an interview, “I think it’s on a bucket list for everybody to be an animated voice in a Disney movie. They called and said, do you want to be in Planes, from the world of Cars. And I was very excited. They said, you’re not going to be a plane, you’re going to be a forklift. I thought, should I call my therapist?”
She continued, “Do I need to know — what are they trying to say? I play a forklift. I play a mechanic who takes care of the main character, who is dusty. He goes from being a crop duster plane with dreams of going around the world. I play a smart mechanic. A soothsayer. I fix his engine. I support him. I make his dreams come true.”
Mother and daughter are certainly close and love to do things together. Last Thursday (August 1) the pair went to the movies without all the flashing cameras and red carpet entrance.View Slideshow »»
