Congratulations to Anna Trebunskaya who is expecting her first child.
“It wasn’t planned, but when it happened, I thought, ‘This is perfect — I’m ready to be a mom,’” the Dancing With The Stars pro, 32, tells Us Weekly. “This is something really good for me and fulfilling, and it’ll give me a whole new meaning in life. I’m really looking forward to it.”
The Russian dancer is remaining mum on the identity of the baby’s father, but she describes him as “very supportive.” And her “mom is so excited she’s going to be a grandmother,” she shares.
Now four months along, she had found out about the pregnancy at the end of the last season of DWTS.
“It was interesting because in the last six to eight months, I was saying to my friends, ‘I’m ready for a change. I feel a change coming on,’” she says. “And sure enough, this is going to be one huge change!”
The two-time DWTS runner-up is “beyond happy” about becoming a mother, but is “bummed” about not competing on the upcoming season of ABC’s hit dance competition.
“I love being the show, and I’ll miss it a lot, but I’ll still be around visiting,” she says. “I’ll be their biggest cheerleader.”
But once the baby comes, she’ll be back. “I’m looking forward to getting back into shape and dancing and bringing the baby on board into the DWTS family!” she says.
