Jason Hoppy & Bethenny Frankel: Preschool Pickup

Jason Hoppy picks up Bryn from school after Divorce Hearing

Jason Hoppy picked up Bryn from school in New York City on Friday (September 13). Hoppy – still wearing his wedding ring – was in a more somber mood than when he was with Bryn the day she was wearing wings. Bethenny Frankel – who has been busy promoting her new talk show – did the school run on Wednesday morning (September 11).

On Thursday (September 12) the former couple showed up at Manhattan divorce court. According to The Daily News - the two didn’t say a word to each other.

Frankel sat on a hard wooden bench in the hallway – while Hoppy sat on an old leather couch with his back to her.

Perez Hilton reports a source said, “They completely avoided eye contact and communication despite being within three feet of each other. As Bethenny made her way past Jason, he put his head down and busied himself on his phone. He couldn’t bring himself to look at her.”

Frankel left the courthouse first and didn’t answer questions from photographers.

Can gossip blogs stop making a big deal about the fact he is still wearing his wedding ring. Most of the people I know that have gone through divorce have waited to take off their ring until they were actually divorced. Some people, young & old, still believe that you are married until you are actually divorced.

Everyone had a field day criticizing Kim Kardashian for dating Kanye and then getting pregnant while still married, but this guy waits to take off his ring while he is still married and it gets pointed out like he is desperate.
