Ivanka Trump looked every bit the radiant new mom as she cradled her 4-day-old son Joseph in New York City on Friday (October 18). Sporting heels, shades and a smile, the Celebrity Apprentice star, 31, carried her newborn into the doctor’s office for a postpartum checkup.
“Please join in our joy as we welcome Joseph Frederick Kushner, named after each of our paternal grandfathers,” Ivanka announced Wednesday, adding, “both master builders of their generation and inspiring patriarchs of their families.”
Sharing that her son arrived on October 14 at 9:54 p.m., the businesswoman and husband Jared Kushner are also parents to 2-year-old daughter Arabella.
The couple, who wed in 2009, announced their pregnancy news in April.
“There is so much to look forward to so I like to remind myself to enjoy being pregnant because once No. 2 arrives we are literally going to have our hands full,” Trump told Celebrity Baby Scoop in June.
The new mom-of-two, who works as the Executive Vice President of Development & Acquisitions at father Donald Trump‘s Trump Corporation, also talked about juggling her career and motherhood.
“I’ve learned to become incredibly efficient,” she shared. “I don’t stress about being ‘balanced’ because the truth is, parenting is unpredictable and you can’t account for everything. Instead, I’m cognizant of my priorities and I wake up knowing what I need to accomplish personally and professionally, and then I do everything I can to fulfill those goals.”
