Jessica Alba’s Breakfast Buddies

Jessica Alba and her family enjoy a Sunday Breakfast

Actress Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren stepped out with their two daughters – Honor, 5, and Haven, 2 – on Sunday (November 10). The family-of-four enjoyed breakfast at Nate ‘n Al in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The night before, Jessica was pretty in pink at the star-studded Baby2Baby Gala in Culver City.

The How to Make Love Like an Englishman actress opened up to PEOPLE at Saturday’s event.

“Their needs are a little different now,” she said of her daughters. “They’re getting to an age where they play together and they do fight, which is funny.”

She added: “They steal stuff from each other! They’re constantly snatching things out of the other one’s hand, destroying something that the other one’s building.”

But the actress is not too worried about this new phase.

“It’s normal kid stuff,” Jessica said with a laugh. “I did the same thing with my brother.”

As for disciplining her daughters, Jessica said, “So now it’s, ‘Stand in the corner and put your nose against the wall!’” she shared. “My 2-year-old can last 15 seconds before she’s like, ‘Okay, I’m done!’, and then I’m like, ‘Wait, it’s not up to you!’ My 5-year-old can go for some time, like a minute or two.”

The actress added: “Every day I just want them to be happy and good and thoughtful. I just want them to be nice people.”

Bad choice of shirt to wear in front of your 5 year old daughter. What kind of role model is that? What a disgusting shirt. I would have expected better from Jessica.
