Rockstar Jon Bon Jovi was all smiles with wife Dorothea and three of their children – daughter Stephanie, 20, and sons Jacob, 11, and Romeo, 9 – at the Winter Whites Gala at Kensington Palace on Tuesday (November 26) in London, England.
Joined by none other than Prince William and A-listers such as Taylor Swift and Colin Firth, the singer, 51, surprised the audience with a special rendition of Livin’ on a Prayer.
Rockin’ a tux, the prince was led onstage by Swift while the legendary rocker began his hit song. Once in front of the mic, the royal new dad clapped his hands, and even managed to harmonize with Swift and Bon Jovi while playing air guitar.
The impromptu concert was described by royal aides as completely “off the cuff.” When the trio ended the song, William and Swift high-fived each another, while Bon Jovi, who was awarded the Great Britain Youth Inspiration Award in honor of his Soul Foundation, gave his royal backup singer a hug.
The Winter Whites Gala raises money for one of William’s favorite charities, the homeless youth organization Centrepoint.
“OHHHHHH! LIVIN ON A PRAYERRRRR,” an excited Swift – who also performed acoustic versions of her hits Trouble, 15 and Love Story – captioned a fun group shot via Instagram.
