“We’ve already decided to name our son Hank Baskett IV. Hank’s dad and his grandfather were both named Hank, so it was very important to us to carry on the family tradition.” – Kendra on choosing her son’s name before he was born.
“Baby Hank got himself into sports! I hung a tennis ball in the garage and at first he was just [hitting it] with the tennis racquet to develop coordination, but now he has a little wiffle ball bat he’s working on. And he’s a tremendous soccer player!” – papa Hank on his son’s love of sports.
“He is the smartest kid, he can put together a five-piece puzzle right now. His concentration is amazing I can’t believe that when we are filming he can just sit down and put together a five piece puzzle so quickly, he has great concentration.” – proud mama Kendra on her son’s cognitive development.
“I find it pretty funny that Little Hank has fans. Definitely never expected this when I thought of having children. But it’s been good. What’s funny is he doesn’t mind the paparazzi at all. In fact there are times where he will notice them even before we do. Most of the paparazzi that have shot Little Hank have been very understanding and respectful. They know not to come between us and him and to keep the proper distance.” – Hank on his son’s “fame.”
”Not one person int his world could get me to do anything like that, except of course for my son. If you saw the first episode [of Splash], little Hank makes a little heart, says ‘I love you, mama,’ and that gave me that power to jump.” – Kendra crediting her son as her confidence to make the high jump in the ABC series Splash
“My son sees me nude every day. He’s like, ‘Boobies!’ He sees them every day, like I don’t care. It’s food, like, I don’t care.” – Kendra on her son.
