Let it snow!
All I Want For Christmas Is You singer Mariah Carey stopped by her godmother Joan Boyce’s jewelry store in Aspen, CO on Friday (December 20). Joined by her 2-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, the Grammy Award-winning singer went winter chic in a cream peacoat and knee high boots.
“This is the first time they’re really getting that Christmas is an event that they are going to receive gifts,” Mariah recently told Access Hollywood of her toddlers.
According to the pop superstar, it sounds like her daughter is a diva in training.
“[Monroe wants my] necklace, my diamonds,” Mariah shared. “I said, ‘This is mommy’s. You know who bought this for mommy? Mommy. You know how long it took mommy to get it? A really, really long time.'”
The singing sensation and husband of five years, America’s Got Talent star Nick Cannon, are making it all about the kids this festive season.
“We always do really fun tricky things for each other for Christmas, and this year, I’m just like, ‘Let’s make it about the babies,’” Mariah said. “Now they see the tree and they light up. They’re so excited… it’s amazing for me to watch and to relive.”
But the star couple are sure to keep the meaning of the season their main focus.
“I want to do presents for the kids, but I don’t want to do an enormity of presents with the kids. It’s not that I don’t want to, it’s just that I don’t think that they’re going to get it [and] understand what it means this year,” she added. “They need to appreciate one or two or three gifts.”View Slideshow »»
