“Vida … has gone to her room and it’s a fashion show. It’s about eight different forms of dress and undress and headbands and angel wings and different shoes.” – Matthew on his 3-year-old daughter.
“It’s the first girls trip that we’re doing and we have the baby. She’s been on set with me every day and really been a part of the whole process. She gives her opinions. She’s helping me pick out the shoes. She’s very cute.” – Camila on bringing her daughter on set while she shoots the Macy’s INC campaign.
“’Vida’ is Portuguese for ‘life’ and that’s what God gave us this morning. Camila’s recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family. Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers along the way, another blessed day, we give thanks.” – proud papa Matthew on the birth of his darling daughter.
“I’m very excited to have a girl. I’m happy and it’s a big blessing. Vida’s definitely a beautiful and peaceful girl. We are so lucky!” - Camila on the birth of her second child.
“It was the only name that we had for a girl even before [we had our son] Levi. We had many male names but we only had Vida. She came out and she gave us life so we named her Vida.” - Matthew on choosing a moniker long before his daughter’s birth.
“We have a family now, got two kids. One of the things that we’ve learned is that we’ve reminded [ourselves and] our kids to be thankful for all the things that we have, because a lot of these kids don’t have the opportunity. One: a solid mother-father relationship in the house. Two: Our kids don’t have to worry about eating or college tuition.” – Matthew on his children and counting his blessings.
“Vida really likes to eat dirt. Vida’s a little more rough and tumble and she’s the young lady.” – Matthew on his then 14-month-old daughter.
“She’s definitely a daddy’s girl.” – Camila on Vida’s love for her daddy.
