Quotes:

“I’m definitely a hands-on mom. For me it’s about priorities, and my girls always come first. I look at it as having a harmonious house more than balancing – it’s never quite balanced! We have dinner every night at the same time – a homemade meal – and we just talk. My girls are always saying funny things; they pick up a lot when I think they aren’t listening. The other day Lola said I looked ‘spectacular,’ which I though was funny for a 4 year old.” – mama Denise on motherhood.

“You have to take the pressure off yourself. If you try to make everything perfectly balanced, that can create guilt. When I’m working, things give at home and when I’m at home, things give at work.” – Denise on how she copes with balancing work and motherhood.

Ugh they named her after a cat?! I would have totally vetoed that if I was Denise

It’s better than after an animal/insect itself such as Birdie, Cricket, Sparrow etc.

Both of her older girls always look miserable. Then again if I had a loser/sperm donor of a father, there wouldn’t be much for me to smile about either.

They look miserable because they are being followed by cameras everywhere they go– I’m sure there is not “getting used to us.” I’d be pretty ticked too!

I saw them inside the Grove once where there were no paparazzi and they looked miserable too. I think that’s just their demeanor. There are lots of kids who never smile.

Maybe she just has a grumpy resting face.
