Kate Winslet Receives Hollywood Star

Kate Winslet honored on Hollywood Walk of Fame

She’s got that new mom glow!

Three months after welcoming her third child, son Bear, Academy Award-winning actress Kate Winslet looked beautiful in black while receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday (March 17).

In her first post-baby appearance, the Titanic actress looked simply stunning in a form-fitting black dress and heels, with her long blonde locks pulled back.

The ceremony was held hours after California was hit with a 4.4 magnitude earthquake.

“I’m completely overwhelmed by the number of people that are here today,” Winslet, 38, said at the event, which was also attended by her Revolutionary Road costar Kathy Bates and Divergent costar Shailene Woodley.

“I honestly had no idea this was going to be quite such a well-attended event especially after the earthquake this morning, which frightened me quite a lot actually,” she added. “I made for a door frame with my breast pump in my hand.”

The celebrated actress is also mom to older children, daughter Mia, 13 and son Joe, 10, from previous marriages.

Bear’s father is Kate’s third husband, Ned Rocknroll.

      She’s a multiple award-winning actress and most of her films have received critical acclaim and in some cases are award winners too. Maybe you would have preferred the likes of Jennifer Garner or Jessica Alba?

      Yeah, how tragic that they’re giving an Academy Award winning actress a star. Crazy….. (not)

    This should of happened many years ago… like right after she won her Oscar. Congrats, Kate.

    @anon: You’re an a-hole.
