Cobie Smulders & Family: Headed To NYC

*EXCLUSIVE* Cobie Smulders and her family leave home for New York **USA ONLY**

How I Met Your Mother star Cobie Smulders was spotted with husband Taran Killam and their daughter Shaelyn, nearly 5, in Los Angeles, Calif. last week. The family-of-three were seen heading to LAX to catch a flight to New York City.

On Monday (March 31), the actress was seen arriving at the NYC premiere of her new film, Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

That same evening, How I Met Your Mother aired its series finale.

“Some days I’m totally fine, but then I realize it’s going to be the last time and I get really nostalgic and sad,” Smulders told The Star. “But I have so much overwhelming gratitude to the show, it’s been the best job. It’s hard to get mad or sad when you’ve been given such opportunity.”

Now that HIMYM is done, she will be moving her family from L.A. to NYC, where she will pursue theatre and film.

“It’s an exciting new chapter, but I’m so grateful that this was a part of my life and my family for so many years,” she shared.

Adorable family! Love her so much and can’t wait to see her in the next Avengers.

And still not over that finale. Nine years of character development down the drain and they ruined everything.

That’s because The producers wanted the kids to look the same throughout the series so they shot the ending back in 2005.

Yeah, I know that. That ending would have been fine for the show back when they shot it, but eight years later when it’s a completely different show? Nope.

They could have put it on the DVD as an alternate ending.

Awww! I was just thinking during the finale that I never see pictures of their daughter. Adorable! I love to think about their home life. Taran Killam is so awesome =)
