Hollywood couple Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber were photographed with their two sons – Sasha, 6, and Kai, 5 – in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Saturday (April 5). The fit family enjoyed an afternoon bike ride in the posh neighborhood.
With Naomi starring in three comedies this year – St Vincent de Van Nuys, Birdman, and While We’re Young – the mom-of-two opens up to Harper’s Bazaar Australia about the shift into funny films.
Naomi admits that she needed a change in direction after some “really intense” roles, such as her true-life character in The Impossible.
“It was really intense,” she shared. “I’d walk through the door at night and my family needed my attention 100 per cent, yet you’re still linked to work. It was time to change gears. And accept laughter.”
Naomi, who got her big break in Mulholland Drive, goes on to talk about dramas versus comedies.
“[Also] comedy is harder to get right than drama,” she shared. “I’m not sure I can do comedy. It was scary being among that crowd – people who know what they’re doing. [Each movie] was a scary couple of weeks.”View Slideshow »»
