“They used to call him Bryn as a nickname. When Jason told me, I thought that would be a great name. Jason’s mom was hysterical, crying. They couldn’t believe we kept it secret.” – mama Bethenny recalling the emotional significance behind her new daughter’s name.
“All of the sudden she just turned into a person. I love her so much she’s the sweetest thing in the entire world. We hit the baby lottery.” – Bethenny on baby Bryn.
“Jason is incredible with Bryn. He’s just not a lazy person, and he does come from a Place of Yes. He walks Cookie, changes diapers, does ‘burpeez’ and everything else. I waited this long to marry someone who could be a partner like this.” – Bethenny on her then husband.
“She’s now standing up. It’s amazing how they’re so interactive and involved. We appreciate it because we’re older, every single thing is the biggest deal I spend all the time in the world that I can with her.” – Bethenny on her first born daughter.
“Jason’s parents are practicing Catholics. Jason goes to church every Sunday. I have to be supportive and allow Bryn to be Catholic — although I wouldn’t necessarily want that. They put in the time and commitment, they have faith, and it would be hypocritical for me to suggest otherwise. Faith, culture, structure and guidance are good things.” – Bethenny on raising her daughter Catholic.
