♥ Pink dedicated the track F***ing Perfect to a then unborn Willow, stating “I have a life inside of me, and I want her or him to know that I will accept him or her with open and loving and welcoming arms. And though I will prepare this little munchkin for a sometimes cruel world, I will also equip this kid to see all the beauty in it as well.”
♥ Last October, papa Carey Hart posted an instagram pic of himself taking his toddler for a motorcycle ride without a helmet. Carey captioned it: “Been waiting for this day for a very long time. Willz went for her 1st ride on my motorcycle around the pits today. She was pumped the whole time. When we stopped, she gave me a big hug and said it was fun, thank you Papa. That’s my girl.”taken to her Twitter to defend the father of her child. When voices of the internet chimed with criticism and concern, Pink took to Twitter to defend her hubby, writing: “If any of u have more experience on a bike than my husband, then I will listen to your opinions on how he should take my daughter for a ride.”
“Every time she bounces on the bed, I see stitches. Being a parent is a Jedi mind f**k. It’s also the raddest thing ever.” Pink on motherhood.
“I was at iHeartRadio [music festival] in Vegas. Carey was at a truck race or something. Willow and I were at the pool, and I was taking her to nap time. She was walking just a foot in front of me. And she trips and falls and gets a concussion. She passed out. Cut to an ambulance and fire truck. And a CAT scan. She was about a year old. That was the worst day of my life. And what do they say? ‘Kids fall.’ Welcome to parenthood. I thought, I can’t handle this. I’m fitting her for a bubble.” – Pink on her little girl.
“Willow said, ‘F**kin’ hi,’ the other day. I’m like, ‘F**k!’” Pink on her daughter’s potty mouth.
“You hear people say it all the time, how life changes so drastically. But you can’t possibly grasp how beautiful that is until you have your child,” proud mama Pink on her beautiful baby girl.
“I love the idea that a willow tree cannot be snapped or broken and we burn sage all the time. It clears bad energy.” – Pink on her daughter’s name.
“The willow is my favorite tree. I grew up near one. It’s the most flexible tree in nature and nothing can break it – no wind, no elements. It can bend and withstand anything. I love that sentiment. I want that for her. Sage is cleansing and sacred and it sounded great together. It doesn’t hurt that her last name is Hart — flexible cleansed heart,” Pink on the reasoning behind her daughter’s name.
“She was in the frank breech position, which is head up with her legs up by her head in a pike position. We tried everything to turn her around. Turns out this little girl had other plans — she is my daughter, after all.” – Pink on Willow’s birth.
