So precious!

Grammy Award winning singer Christina Aguilera, 33, shared an adorable twitpic of her 6-year-old son Max cradling her growing baby bump. “Max already protecting mommy & his little sister!” the Beautiful singer, 33, captioned the sweet shot which was taken by a paparazzo during an outing in Los Angeles, Calif. on Saturday (July 12).

“Big Brother Love,” the proud mama concluded in her tweet, “He’s the greatest. #maxthegreat.”

The Candyman singer is expecting her second child – her first with fiancé Matt Rutler. She shares custody of Max with ex-husband Jordan Bratman.

According to E! News, later that same day the expectant parents celebrated a co-ed baby shower held at the home of the singer’s stylist.

With approximately 50 family members and close friends in attendance, the soirée was complete with a cake decorated with a figure of a woman giving birth on a rug atop a hardwood floor. The baby’s head (with a full head of hair) was poking out from where it came.

Reportedly, the writing on the cake read, “Push Xtina, push.”

A source says that the adults-only gathering lasted well past midnight, and Christina —who donned a garland of flowers in her hair and a flowing white dress— “wasn’t tired at all.”

Guests noshed on breaded chicken, veggie burgers, sliders, fresh salads, tomatoes and burrata and mini grilled cheese sandwiches. Cocktails and mocktails were served, all boasting themed names such as Baby Bellini, Mommy Moonshine, It’s Almost Time and Pink Cheek.

According to sources, the group played traditional shower games, along with a few “racy games” as well.

“Christina is doing great,” said an insider. “She’s really glowing. She’s feeling great and isn’t tired at all. She can’t wait to meet her baby girl.”

Here’s another beautiful twitpic, shared by the glowing mom-to-be.
