Looking every bit the proud parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William grace the August cover of Vanity Fair with their nearly one-year-old son Prince George. The heartwarming photo showcases the family-of-three enjoying their first official tour in Australia and New Zealand earlier in the year.
And while their royal tot is set to turn one on July 22, it sounds like the new parents have even more reason to celebrate.
A longtime friend of the Duchess of Cambridge, Jessica Hay – who leaked news of Kate’s first pregnancy – tells Australia’s New Day that the royal pair is expecting baby number two.
“Kate’s inner circle are buzzing with the news that she is pregnant,” Hay says. “I’ve heard it from several different friends of theirs now and they’re saying that they think there’s going to be an official announcement in weeks.”
Hay continues: “Kate’s face is fuller like it was when she was first expecting George and she’s been changing her hair, which could be to disguise the fullness. She has rosy cheeks, she’s letting her greys show again, and whenever she’s out in public she goes to great lengths to hold something over her tummy…”
But don’t expect an official confirmation from the palace just yet.
“With George, they were forced to tell the world very early on that Kate was pregnant because she was rushed to the hospital with that awful hyperemesis gravidarum at around six or seven weeks,” Hay continues.
We can’t wait to hear the news!
