Jordyn Grohl and Dave Grohl at the 21st Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party

Congratulations to Dave Grohl and Jordyn Blum.

The Foo Fighters frontman, 45, and his wife welcomed their third child, a daughter named Ophelia Saint Grohl, on August 1.

The happy news comes just days after Grohl lost his father, James Grohl, on Aug. 6 to a longterm illness.

“Bittersweet news — congratulations David Grohl and Jordyn Blum who have welcomed a new baby girl #3 Ophelia Grohl! The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away!!” reads an announcement on The David Grohl Alley Scholarship Program’s Facebook page.

The couple, who wed in 2003, are also parents to daughters Violet, 8, and Harper, 5.

YOU may not like the name but it’s an ACTUAL name and not made up or something named after a bird or bug.

I like the name Ophelia, it’s pretty and a heroine in shakespeare’s hamlet. Think the name means “help”. Not sure on Saint though!

Love that they’re still together after so many years, with the rocker’s undoubtably busy schedule, and even have another child!
