Pop superstar Beyoncé gave a jaw-dropping performance at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. But it was her 2-year-old daughter Blue Ivy who stole the show.

Before accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, the singer performed Mine, and moved into Haunted, before singing verses from songs including Drunk In Love, Partition, Flawless and XO. During the music medly, the camera panned on Jay-Z and Blue dancing in their seats and cheering on Queen Bey.

Without formally addressing the pesky divorce rumors, Jay-Z joined his wife onstage – while holding their tot – to present her with the prestigious award.

The rapper called Beyoncé the “greatest living entertainer,” and the famous duo then kissed onstage. Shortly after, their sweet girl clapped and said, “Yay, mommy!”

“I’m so full,”Beyoncé said while accepting her award. “I have nothing to say, but I feel so much gratitude. I thank God for this moment.”

“Boo boo I love you, my beloved I love you,” she said to her family onstage. At that, the Carters walked off stage together.

I loved watching Blue in the audience dancing and head bopping to her mommy’s performance. She is def Jay’s spitting image though. I see not one ounce of Bey in that little girl.

Not really a fan of either Bey or Jay Z but I give them major up’s for not allowing the negative hair insecurities some have out here to be projected onto Blue Ivy. Her crown is beautiful and such a powerful statement to make. They could have easily gone the braid route and no one would have had any commentary. Instead, they boldly chose to allow their daughter to out of the box enjoy this natural expression and its awesome.
