Celebrity Families Attend Santa’s Secret Workshop

4th Annual Santa's Secret Workshop Benefiting LA Family Housing

The 4th Annual Santa’s Secret Workshop (SSW) kicked off Hollywood’s holiday season by bringing celebrities, their kids, and Tinseltown’s VIPs together for a day of family fun and gifting. The festive event – hosted by “The Guncles” (Scout Masterson and Bill Horn) of Marque Communications – was held at the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood on Saturday (December 6).

The Guncles’ BFF, True Tori star Tori Spelling, smiled for the cameras alongside husband Dean McDermott and their four children: Liam, 7, Stella, 6, Hattie, 3, and Finn, 2.

Celebrity Baby Scoop caught up with Tori and her family-of-six at the fun family event.

“We are going to be just hanging around the house – cooking, baking, decorating, and of course, crafting,” the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 41, said.

Recent cancer survivor, Dancing with the Stars alum Samantha Harris, went on to talk about how her family celebrates both Hanukkah and Christmas.

“We take my traditions, and my husband Michael’s traditions, and we meld them into ‘Hanamis,'” she shared.

In the spirit of giving, the event benefited L.A. Family Housing. The mission of LAFH is to help families transition out of homelessness and poverty through a continuum of housing enriched with supportive services.

Guests were treated with a visit from Santa to avoid that dreaded trip to the mall. Also, there was holiday crafting with Jo-Ann Fabric & Crafts, cookie decorating with Jenny Cookies, and gifting of some of the hottest products this holiday season, including: Andrea Schroder Candles, Diono, Ergobaby, Jo-Ann, Ju-Ju-Be, Keurig, Kurio, Loved by Hannah and Eli, Mabel’s Labels, Monica + Andy, Orbit Baby, Sage Spoonfuls, Stokke, SugarBooger by ORE, Trunki and ZoLi.

Guests who attended included: Sarah Michelle Gellar, Tiffani Thiessen, Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott, Kristin Davis, Haylie Duff, Lisa Rinna, James Van Der Beek, Nia Long, Phaedra Parks, Sean Murray, Owain Yeoman, Gilles Marini, Sara Rue, Beverley Mitchell, Lisa Ling, Donald Faison & CaCee Cobb, Majandra Delfino, Ian Ziering, Samantha Harris, Lindsay Sloane, Maria Sansone, Jessica St. Clair, Ryan Devlin, Marla Sokoloff, Marsha Thomason, Melissa Sagemiller, Sherri Saum, Lennon Parham, Brooke Anderson, Christie Lynn Smith, Mark Deklin, Ashley Williams, Autumn Reeser, David O’Donnell, Ashley Jones, Eric Ladin, Grant Show, Katherine LaNasa, Jennifer Aspen, Lex Medlin Kelly Stables, Shawn Hatosy, Marisol Nichols, Chudney Ross, and Courtney Lopez.

red lipstick on little girls is not cute.

    The lipstick looks ridiculous.

I’m not going to say that dark red lipstick on a child is inappropriate, I will say that it just looks ridiculous.

  • Mary

    How common.

  • Busy

Watch this space. Stella especially seems just too big for her boots and I bet she is going to be a lot of trouble in 5 or so years. Always thought she was a “madam”. Homely/fugly looking kids too – especially the older 2.

      Hattie is cute!

Did they shave the girls hair? On the side?

    • Gemi

I can’t tell for sure. If you look at Hattie’s hair it looks similar. I’m thinking they just pulled that bit of hair under the rest to give it the effect.

Surely they wouldn’t give a six and three year old an undercut.

Yikes, I gotta say, lipstick on a toddler really rubs me the wrong way. Not a massive fan of the gelled hair on the baby either but hey not my kids. Still a gorgeous family.

The red lipstick is just wrong, proof that having money can’t buy class. And I’m almost convinced they have shaved the girls hair… which is a shame as their youngest is so cute

  • Rachel

I can’t believe you all say something about the lipatick while the oldest kid is way too fat!! Thats not healthy at all, so wrong!!
