“Gia and Dominic had a blast at their Finding Dory/Under the Sea-themed birthday party,” Courtney tells Celebrity Baby Scoop.
With over 120 guests, family flew in from Pittsburgh, Delaware, Ohio and San Diego for the birthday bash held at the family’s Los Angeles-based home.
While Gia was born on Sept. 11, 2010 and “Nico” arrived on Sept. 9, 2013, the Saved by the Bell alum, 42, and his wife always throw a double party for their kids.
“I always have so much fun planning my kids’ birthday party,” Courtney says.
With a candy bar created by Good Carma Studio, Courtney used Avery’s DIY online tools to create the “Under the Sea” custom labels for the candy bar, stuffed animal aquarium, and signage for the birthday festivities.
“The kids enjoyed a sand art station, face painting, balloon art, a bouncy house, games and 2 huge piñatas,” says Courtney. “They looked like should’ve been in the Macy’s Day Parade, they were huge! The boys hit Nemo and the girls hit Dory.”
While La Croix set up a water bar with assorted flavors with fresh fruit, guests noshed on some yummy eats while being entertained.
“Prova pizza was there again with their pizza oven and made fresh pizza on the spot,” says Courtney. “Polkatots killed it again with their sweet treats display. Our guests could choose from cupcakes to cake to cookies to candy apples and chocolate covered pretzels.”
And it sounds like guests got to boogy at the bash.
“The entertainment was by Monster Kids from Americas Got Talent,” reveals Courtney. “The performed for our guests and their 8-year-old daughter DJ’d the whole party. It was super cute.”
