Meet the Carter twins!
Grammy Award-winning singer Beyoncé introduced her newborns via Instagram Thursday. “Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today,” the Halo hitmaker, 35, captioned the image holding the twins in the garden while rocking a Palomo Spain ensemble.
The social media post confirms the babies names – Sir and Rumi – and their June 13 birth date. As for gender, fans still assume that Sir is a boy and Rumi is a girl.
In June, the Run the World singer and her rap superstar husband Jay Z, 47, had trademark documents filed in their twins’ names to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
The news came hours after Jay Z dropped his latest album 4:44, in which he reveals on the title track that the twins were naturally conceived.
“I apologize often womanize / Took for my child to be born / See through a woman’s eyes / Took for these natural twins to believe in miracles / Took me too long for this song / I don’t deserve you,” he says.
Sir and Rumi join 5-year-old big sister Blue Ivy. The family-of-five are currently living in a $400,000-a-month Malibu rental.
