Harlow Madden Sneaks A Peek

Harlow Winter Kate, 1, sneaks a peek over dad's shoulder on Tuesday afternoon. Nicole Richie, her partner Joel Madden, their daughter Harlow along with uncle Benji were seen at DCMA retail store on Tuesday. Nicole, Joel and Benji were just spotted at The Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation host fundraiser for UNICEF’s Tap Project in Los Angeles on Monday night.
Nicole, 27, said that she and Joel are very hands-on when it comes to the Foundation, saying that it goes beyond “just writing a check” and added “The moms are happy because they’re getting exactly what they want, and you are happy because you see that you have definitely helped someone."
Nicole and Joel are expecting their second child in late August/early September.

Benji Madden Is Ready To Take On The Boyfriends!

Harlow Madden's future boyfriends have more to worry about than just the little girl's dad - they'll have to watch out for her Uncle Benji, too!
"I'm going to be keeping a close eye on her," Benji, 29, tells PEOPLE. "I'll leave the shotgun right by the door. We're lucky being twins, because Joel can be the good guy and I'll be the bad guy."
And Benji was nothing but complimentary about how Joel and Nicole are raising their daughter, who turns 1 on January 11.
"When they had her, their instincts just kind of came out, and it's amazing to see," he says. "They just really put their child above everything. Joel is such a great dad and Nicole is the best mom I've ever seen. Joel is all about showing up. His main concern in life is protecting and caring for his family."
