The girls, who were all bundled up for the cold, used their phones more for picture-taking than talking. Maybe they were turning the tables on the paparazzi?

Actress Brooke Shields covers the latest edition of Scholastic Parent & Child. Currently starring as Morticia in The Addams Family on Broadway, the actress/mom performs eight shows a week--three matinees plus five evening performances. The busy mom opens up about her two daughters - Rowan, 8, and Grier, 5 - with husband Chris Henchy, holiday traditions, giving back and rules at the dinner table.
On family ties: “We get crabby if we don’t talk. Maintaining family rituals that keeps us close is key, like making sure to sit down to dinner together to talk about our day as often as possible. And no cell phones at the table!”

Brooke Shields says she would love to have more children. The Addams Family Broadway star, who has two daughters - Rowan, 8, and Grier, 5, with husband Chris Henchy - explains to eonline, "I would die for one. Unfortunately, my husband is not as amenable. So I either have to trick him or lie to him to get knocked up."
Shields, 46, added, "He said to me the other day, 'I'm beginning to think that if I don't give this to you, you'll do it on your own'. Yeah, it's like, 'Don't test me. I'm very independent.' But I'm older so my eggs probably need a chisel."

Having found fame at a young age, Brooke Shields doesn't want her two daughters, Rowan, 7, and Grier, 4, to follow in her footsteps. The 45-year-old actress and model would prefer they stay out of the spotlight for now.
"I would never start them as young as I did," she tells Psychologies magazine.

What a pretty pair! Brooke Shields and her oldest daughter Rowan, 7, enjoyed an afternoon out together yesterday, first hitting a coffee shop and then heading to a local park in Los Angeles, California (July 10).
Though she got her own start in show business at a very early age, Brooke has said that she doesn't want her girls involved in the industry.
No, I don't want them involved. Every day you're told what you are not: You're not short enough, you're not thin enough, you're not pretty enough. You're always losing out."
Brooke and her husband Chris Henchy are also parents to 4-year-old daughter Grier.

Brooke Shields and her two girls - Rowan, 7, and Grier, 4 - along with a friend were spotted out and about in Los Angeles yesterday (June 27). Brooke grabbed a coffee to go while she walked with the three girls in sunny L.A.
The 45-year-old mother of two recently talked about the importance of following a routine:
My kids thrive on the routine at bedtime, like the bath and the food and the book reading. Every night we say our prayers and we do a rose/thorn which is, 'What was your rose of the day and what was your thorn of the day?' I watch them and it just gives them a sense of comfort. It's the same thing with rules. I have to enforce their behavior, including manners. But they like it. I think they just feel like they're safe, and then they know that they can kind of go off and be kids at school."
The girls' father is Brooke's husband of nine years, television writer Chris Henchy.
