Camila Alves Juggles Career & Kids
On top of having 1-month-old daughter Vida to care for, Camila Alves is hard at work these days promoting the 3rd season of Bravo's hair-styling show Shear Genius, which she hosts.
So how is the mom-of-two - she and her "very supportive" boyfriend Matthew McConaughey are also parents to 18-month-old son Levi - managing such a busy schedule?
“I’m not even sure myself,” Camila admits. “I have my mom here, who has been giving me a good hand, and I’m just trying to keep everything as smooth as I can. I love working. It’s part of my life. It’s what I like to do. We try and keep a good balance.”
Saying that that she and Matthew always make family a priority, she reveals that her favorite time with the two kids so far was “Coming home with Vida and her meeting Levi. That was a pretty neat moment.”

Wow! Mom-of-two Camila Alves looked absolutely stunning today as she left the studio after an appearance on E!'s Chelsea Lately show (February 1). The Brazilian beauty, who welcomed daughter Vida with her boyfriend Matthew McConaughey just 4 weeks ago, showed off her postpartum figure in head-to-toe black. Unfortunately we didn't catch a glimpse of little Vida, who stayed covered up in her car seat.
Camila recently revealed that she is taking a "40-day break" following the birth of her baby girl:
You kind of respect all the hard work your body has just done and give it a break. For these 40 days, you really take it easy. By that I mean no sex, light, healthy food, no trips to the gym. Then, after 40 days, you are good to go."
Camila and Matthew are also parents to 18-month-old son Levi.
Camila Alves: No Sex For 40 Days After Childbirth
Camila Alves has told boyfriend Matthew McConaughey to wait 40 days before having sex so her body can recover from giving birth to their second child, 3-week-old daughter Vida.
Where I come from, we believe in something we call a 40-day break after the baby," the mother-of-two tells StyleList. "You have to let your body do its own thing. You give it time to recover and let everything settle down."

Proud dad Matthew McConaughey has taken to his website to share a sweet first glimpse of his beautiful newborn daughter. He and girlfriend Camila Alves welcomed their newest addition on January 3.

The happy couple are also parents to Vida's big brother, 18-month-old Levi.
Rooster McConaughey Dishes On Proud Papa Matthew
Uncle Rooster McConaughey reports that proud parents Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves are "doing fine" after welcoming their daughter Vida on Sunday.
"He called me on Sunday afternoon and said, 'I made a little baby girl,'" Rooster tells People. "He's all proud... He's got it going on now."
He also weighed in on his newborn niece's name, saying that booze-inspired names are more his style than they are Matthew's.
"I think I ruined it for him because I've already taken up that territory. I named my [3½-year-old] boy Miller Lyte because that's my favorite beer. And my [11-month-old] little girl is named Margarita Olympia... I liked that beer, too, even though they don't even make it anymore."
In a show of friendly brotherly competition, Rooster says he told Matthew to "quit copying me" when he heard the news that he's now the dad of a daughter.
"Hell, we've got so many McConaughey girls now, we're all gonna have to learn volleyball and cheerleading," he jokes.
Matthew and Camila are also parents to 17-month-old son Levi.

Matthew McConaughey, 40, and girlfriend Camila Alves, 26, have welcomed a daughter!
Baby girl Vida was born early this morning (January 3) at 12:13 a.m., weighing 7lbs., 7oz., announced Matthew on his website.
“Vida is Portuguese for “life” and that’s what God gave us this morning,” writes Matthew. “Camila’s recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family. Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers along the way, another blessed day, we give thanks.”
Little Vida joins big brother Levi, 17-months, at home.
Camila and Matthew, who have been dating since 2006, first announced the pregnancy in June.

Expectant mom Camila Alves looked picture perfect today as she made her way to a doctor's appointment in Beverly Hills, California (December 18).
The Brazilian beauty isn't letting the late stages of pregnancy slow her down - earlier this week we saw her out running a few errands with her 17-month-old son Levi in tow.
Camila and her boyfriend Matthew McConaughey are expecting their second child very soon - the baby is due late this month or early in 2010.
