From her 10,000 square foot home in Jupiter Island, Florida to her private jets to her custom-made couture wardrobe, singer Céline Dion is quick to admit she enjoys an "extraordinary life." But the Grammy-winning mom-of-three says it's important to her that her kids stay grounded.

“When you have nothing, it’s difficult to raise a child. When you have everything, it’s hard to raise a child,” Céline tells Canadian newspaper the Globe and Mail. “But it’s not what you give them that’s important. It’s what you teach them – that is the line I remember when I make all decisions.”

Céline Dion returned to the stage just five months after giving birth to fraternal twins, Eddy and Nelson. But despite having juggled parenthood and a thriving singing career for years with her oldest son, René Charles, 10, the Grammy award-winning mom-of-three admits that leaving her family hasn't gotten any easier.

"It is very intense so I try to get here as late as possible and get home as quick as I can," Dion, 43, tells ET Canada. "The first thing before I start a show, I think of my kids and always say, 'This one's for you guys.'"

Celine Dion just began a new three-year engagement at the Colosseum at Caesars in Las Vegas, and expect to see a theme throughout the show – her family. Her three children, René-Charles, 10, and her four-month-old twins Nelson and Eddy, are prominently featured. "I've been an open book all of my life," she said last week. "There is no way for me to come back here and not share my most precious thing."

"The world knows I just had two more beautiful babies," the singer said. "If I come here and I don't sing a lullaby or do not show one picture with my family, I think it's going to be missing something. I love to share my private life."
