Reese Witherspoon sure had a busy weekend. She was seen with her husband Jim Toth and her son Deacon on Sunday (July 10) leaving a restaurant where they had lunch in Venice, Calif.
The actress was on the phone while heading back to their car. Was she talking about her meeting with Prince William and Kate Middleton?

Seven-year-old Deacon had a big cheering section at this weekend's soccer game in Los Angeles, California as his mom Reese Witherspoon, new step-dad Jim Toth and dad Ryan Phillippe all cheered him on from the sidelines (June 11). Big sister Ava, 11, sat this one out.
It looks like the Oscar-winner's ankle injury has finally healed - the past several times we've seen Reese she's been wearing a walking cast.

We parents tend to be in awe of our kids, and Reese Witherspoon is no exception. She recently talked to MTV News about daughter Ava, 11, and son Deacon, 7, and their "sophisticated" musical tastes.
"They're into the White Stripes right now. They're both learning to play the electric guitar, and it's kind of awesome," the How Do You Know actress said. "They're playing 'Seven Nation Army' around the house."

Ryan Phillippe and his girlfriend Abbie Cornish were photographed with his two children - Ava, 10, and Deacon, who turns 6 later this month - at a Halloween party in Brentwood on Sunday (October 11). Ava had fun jumping on the trampoline while dad took pictures. The kids' mom is Academy Award-winner, Reese Witherspoon.
Reese has since moved on with A-list actor, Rendition costar Jake Gyllenhaal while Ryan is dating Abbie whom he met in 2006 while filming Stop-Loss. Cornish was widely reported to be the "other woman" that ended Ryan and Reese's marriage, though neither Witherspoon nor Phillippe has confirmed these rumors.

Reese Witherspoon and boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal went out for coffee in Brentwood on the 24th, and they brought along Reese's son Deacon Phillipe, who just turned 5. How cute is Jake holding Deacon's hand?
Jake is currently filming Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and has two other movies in post-production. Reese also has a daughter, Ava, 9.

Ryan Phillipe dropped off his son Deacon, who turns 5 today, and his karate lessons. He watched from a sofa inside for a little while, and then left. A nanny picked Deacon up and took him to his mom, Reese Witherspoon. It certainly seems like they are both being civil with each other, doesn't it?
