Hugh Jackman & Family: Birthday Bound
Hugh Jackman, Deborra-Lee Furness and their two children - Oscar, 9, and Ava, 4 - along with a friend were spotted heading to a birthday party in New York City on Sunday (November 22).
We recently saw Hugh with his mother, Grace Watson. While Grace left the family after Hugh's birth, the 41-year-old Wolverine star recently said he has reconciled with his mother who suffered from undiagnosed post-partum depression.
My mother was not well. I always hoped she would come back, but I never blamed her for anything that went wrong. At the time, I was miserable and angry, and my brothers and I used to fight all the time."
Hugh Jackman Is A Playful Papa!
How sweet! Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness picked up their daughter Ava from school and took her to a nearby playground on Monday (November 2). Hugh looked like he was having as much fun as his adorable 4-year-old! We just love this father-daughter duo!
Although we just saw Ava dressed up in a princess costume, the hunky 41-year-old Wolverine star recently said his daughter was planning to dress up as a muffin for Halloween: "My daughter this morning decided she wanted to be a muffin. I said, ‘what flavor?’ and she said ‘chocolate chip.’”

Mother-daughter duo Deborra-Lee Furness and Ava Jackman, 4, were spotted out for a stroll in New York's Greenwich Village yesterday (October 29). It's not too often we see little Ava relaxing in her stroller - she's usually a girl on the go!
Earlier this week Deborra-Lee, who also has 9-year-old son Oscar with her hubby Hugh Jackman, was honored at the Worldwide Orphans Foundation Benefit Gala for her work on behalf of children.
Hugh Jackman Praises His "Beautiful, Amazing" Wife
Honoree Deborra-Lee Furness, who is the founder of the child advocacy organization Orphan Angels, had her biggest fan in the crowd at Monday night's Worldwide Orphans Foundation Benefit Gala - her adoring husband Hugh Jackman.
The Wolverine star was quick to praise his wife of 13 years, telling OK!, “One of the highlights is honoring this beautiful, amazing woman who happens to be my wife, and she does amazing work and has done for many years all over the world."
The couple, who are parents to kids Oscar, 9, and Ava, 4, seem to have a very happy and closeknit family. So what's their secret?

Hugh Jackman was spotted with his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, and their 4-year-old daughter Ava shopping for Halloween decorations in New York City on Tuesday (October 20). The trio took the time to stop and talk to a fan as they walked (and scooted!) their way home.
In earlier Halloween preparations, we spotted the Jackman family of four - including 9-year-old Oscar - at Silverman's Country Market picking pumpkins in Easton, Connecticut last month. We hope to see the Jackman kids dressed up this year like we did last year!

Hugh and 007 star Daniel Craig are currently starring in the Broadway play, Steady Rain. The 41-year-old father-of-two is set to play Logan/Wolverine again in the much-anticipated X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2 film, due to hit theaters in 2012.
