Spanish actor Gael García Bernal spent the day with girlfriend Dolores Fonzi and their 1-year-old son Lázaro in Madrid, Spain on Saturday (March 13).
The 31-year-old Y Tu Mamá También star smiled as he held up a small ball, clutching Lázaro with his other hand. For part of their outing, Gael’s adorable son laid back in his stroller to relax.
Earlier this year, rumors were reported that Gael had split from his girlfriend and may not have fathered their son. Shortly thereafter, a source close to the actor told PEOPLE: “It’s completely untrue,” adding that the couple “are happy together and they love their son. This is totally made up.”
Gael and Dolores have been together since meeting on the set of 2001’s Vidas Privadas.

Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal and his girlfriend, Argentinean actress Dolores Fonzi stroll through the streets of Madrid with their 1-month-old baby boy Lazaro. The couple live in Madrid to avoid the overwhelming attention they receive in their home countries.
Garcia, who met Fonzi on the set of their 2001 Film Vidas Privadas, said that he felt “happiness” when he first learned that he was going to be a father: “Everyone’s reaction is the same. I’m glad like every father.”
