Jason Bateman took a final look at Sydney Harbour with his wife Amanda Anka and their adorable daughter Francesca, who turns 3 later this month, before departing Australia on Friday (October 2). The family of three are down under to promote Jason's new flick, Couples Retreat.
The 40-year-old Arrested Development star attended the premiere for his new movie at the Event Cinemas George Street on Thursday (October 1) in Sydney, Australia. It's bound to be funny! Jason's costars include Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau (who also wrote the script), Kristin Davis and Kristen Bell, to name a few.
Couples Retreat hits theaters October 9th.
Jason Bateman & Family's Soho Stroll
Doting dad Jason Bateman enjoyed some family time in NYC today with his wife Amanda and their 2 1/2-year-old daughter Francesca. The couple, who celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary this summer, were later spotted in the star-studded crowd at the US Open.
Good news for Arrested Development fans: Jason recently confirmed that a film based on the show is indeed in the works, telling Parade magazine, "No one is thinking it's going to make 100 million dollars. I think it'll basically be made for us and for the 10 or 12 people that actually watched the show before it got canceled."
Jason Bateman's Little Doll
What a cutie! Jason Bateman carried his adorable 2 1/2-year-old daughter Francesca Nora, who was holding her toy doll, on his shoulders as he walked with his wife Amanda Anka in Brooklyn Heights on Wednesday.
Jason is currently filming The Baster, alongside Jennifer Aniston in NYC. In between takes, Jason sneaks in family time with his wife and daughter as often as possible.

Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka were spotted in SoHo with their daughter Francesca Nora. The adorable 2 1/2-year-old fell asleep while the family of three enjoyed a Saturday stroll in the big apple.
The 40-year-old Arrested Development star is quite smitten with his adorable girl: “I just like to throw her around. She's a real good snuggler and she likes to give kisses and hugs. And her neck smells fantastic! You just want to ball her up and stuff her in your pocket. I'm doing all that until she gets too big and doesn't want to kiss her dad anymore.”
Francesca Takes A Bite Outta The Big Apple

Though Jason and Amanda met as teenagers in high school, he said it took him a while to realize she was 'the one': “Once I got my sh** together, I knew she might be a fantastic candidate for the better half of my life. I only wanted to get married once, so I had to look for someone with longevity, which would be a friend. And a friend that I really want to sleep with, too - then that’s the ticket.”

In the interview the 40-year-old actor talks about two of the girls he loves: His wife Amanda Anka and their 2-year-old daughter Francesca.

“Anyone who has a kid, when friends ask you if you have a picture, you go, ‘Yeahyeahyeah,’ and whip out your phone to show off. This was that times ten. Look up there. She’s mine.” he says. “And I love her.”

Jason rose to fame again in recent years with his role as Michael Bluth on the critically-acclaimed television sitcom Arrested Development. He has also appeared in several movies, such as The Kingdom, Juno, and Hancock.
