British actress Anna Friel spent a fun-filled day with her gorgeous daughter Gracie, 4, at Paradise Cove beach in Malibu, California yesterday (April 3). The pair raced around the beach and then headed for lunch at the Alcove Cafe and Bakery with Anna's mom and her close friend - and former Broadway co-star - Joseph Cross.

Gracie's dad is Anna's longtime partner, actor David Thewlis. The former Pushing Daisies star recently said of family life in LA,

David and I both had such traditional English childhoods that's its surreal, in a way, to find ourselves raising our daughter in Hollywood."

Pushing Daisies star Anna Friel was spotted leaving a studio in London, UK with her adorable 4-year-old daughter, Gracie, on Tuesday (October 27). Dad is Anna's boyfriend, fellow actor David Thewlis.

The 33-year-old mother-of-one has two movies set to hit theaters next year: London Boulevard and Angel Makers.

After meeting on a flight to Cannes in 2001, Friel and fellow actor Thewlis began dating.

Anna, 32, is best known as Charlotte "Chuck" Charles, the female lead in the television series Pushing Daisies.
