Although Guy Ritchie and Madonna split in 2008, the director says he has no regrets over their time together and is grateful for their marriage because of their children – sons Rocco, 11, and David Banda, 6.
"I enjoyed my first marriage. It's definitely not something I regret," he told Details of his eight-year union with the pop queen. "The experience was ultimately very positive. I love the kids that came out of it, and I could see no other route to take. But you move on, don't you?"

Robert Downey Jr. cradled his wife, Susan Downey's, baby bump at the 25th American Cinematheque Award ceremony in Beverly Hills on Friday (October 14), which honored the Iron Man star. Also in attendance were new parents Guy Ritchie and Jacqui Ainsley, Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson.
Gibson, 55, was invited onstage to present Downey Jr., 46, with the prestigious award. Downey Jr. took his time onstage to ask Hollywood to forgive his fellow actor. "Unless you are without sin -- and if you are, you are in the wrong f**king industry -- you should forgive him and let him work," Downey Jr. said.

Famed director Guy Ritchie, 43, held his newborn son on Tuesday (October 4) alongside model girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley, 29. Both sporting shades, the couple touched down into Los Angeles International Airport.
Perhaps the couple's first child - who is yet to be named - will follow in his daddy's footsteps working behind the cameras? The Snatch filmmaker held his third son close, covered in a white blanket from the flashing bulbs of the paparazzi.

Congratulations are in order for British director Guy Ritchie, 42, and his girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley, 29.
The couple welcomed a baby boy in London on Monday morning (September 5) via emergency C-section, The Mirror reports. "The baby came a few days earlier than planned but the actual birth went well and both mum and tot are doing great," a source said.
