Brooke Burke and David Charvet were spotted enjoying a sweet treat in Malibu today with their beautiful kids Heaven Rain, 2, and Shaya Braven, 14 months.

The 37-year-old mom-of-four - big sisters Neriah, 9, and Sierra, 7, weren't with the family today - recently took to her Modern Mom blog to vent about some of the challenges of family life.

"There is so much going on in my household, dealing with 2 babies and 2 wanabee teens. Because I have two families in my life, every week when my big girls return from their father’s house, it’s like starting over-every Wednesday. It's a totally different energy when I go from two kids to four, especially because two of them are not David’s. There are lots of feelings, little hearts, and emotions to consider. Most of the time I feel like a mediator, referee/counselor."

Neriah and Sierra are Brooke’s daughters with her ex-husband Garth Fisher.

Brooke Burke: "A Mother's Work Is Never Done!"

The busy - make that very busy - mom writes, "Lately I have been so busy being pulled in a million directions that I am trying to squeeze in my baby moments. Isn’t that the ongoing challenge of motherhood? Not to mention the guilt that goes along with the fact that there are not enough hours in the day for everyone’s needs."

Brooke has daughters Neriah, 9, and Seirra, 7, from a previous marriage and daughter Heaven, 2, and son Shaya, 1, with her fiance David Charvet.

She blogs about a typical day in the Burke-Charvet family:

"No need for an alarm in the morning, baby is up fussing for milk. Our two year old needs to go potty and my eyes are fighting the sunlight. My back hurts form being sandwiched in between two babies that are not yet sleeping through the night (on my side of the bed btw). I wake up my older kids for school and hurry downstairs to get breakfast ready and make it out the door in time to beat rush hour. Thank God I made lunches last night, and I have a 30 minute drive for the kids to finish eating breakfast. Quick glance at the school calendar to make sure I have not missed anything; I have 5 minutes for myself to throw hair in a ponytail, sweats and flip flops on and grab my shades to hide the restless nights bags under my eyes. I yell for everyone to get in the car, bus is leaving!!!"

Brooke was spotted spending time with the family in Malibu over the weekend.

David Charvet and Brooke Burke were spotted at Nickelodeon's 22nd Annual Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday with three of their four children: Neriah, 9, Sierra Sky (striped skirt), 7, and 2-year-old Heaven Rain (pink shirt). One-year-old little brother, Shaya, wasn't with the family.

The 37-year-old Dancing With the Stars Season 7 champ recently offered her advice to moms: “Everybody is going to tell you the ‘right way’ to be a mom. I don’t think there is a right way. It’s not about being a perfect mother: It’s about doing the best you can every day.”

Brooke Burke and her daughter, Heaven "Rain" are spotted leaving Starbucks in Malibu, on Monday. Brooke just recently released the name of her newborn son - Shaya Charvet (they're still deciding on a middle name). Below is Brooke's latest blog entry,
I started walking this week. We have an amazing 4-mile hike through the mountains in our neighborhood. David and I decided to do it together 3 times a week. We put Rain and Shaya in our dbl stroller and together we work out for 1-½ hours. Much of the walk is up hill, which is so tough, pushing the kids. David does that part. Once we head up the steepest hill, we can see an amazing view of Malibu?s coastline. On a clear day, I can see across the ocean from Santa Monica, all the way to Catalina Island. It is such a peaceful, calming and inspiring walk. We both are totally sleep deprived, but the fresh air, challenge, and the accomplishment is so helpful to us. I know, as a mother that time for us is the first thing to go. I am making myself do this walk even on harder days because I am committed to not losing myself completely on this journey. In that hour, I do a lot of thinking, I take my deepest breaths of the day, and I try to appreciate all the things in my life, both good and bad. We usually walk in silence, which I really enjoy. When I reach the top of the mountain each time, I feel a sense of accomplishment for myself, besides the million other things I do in a day for everyone else.
