Jaden & Willow Smith Support Project Zambi

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith must be so proud!
The A-lister's kids - son Jaden, 11, and daughter Willow, 8 - are serving as youth ambassadors of Hasbro's Project Zambi, Us reports.
The Smith siblings, both actors, are supporting Project Zambi to help raise awareness for the 15 million children who have lost parents and relatives to the AIDS epidemic in Africa. Jaden, who is currently filming Kung Fu Kid in China talked about his reasons for joining this great cause:
Willow and I joined Project Zambi to represent all the kids out there who want to make the world a better place," Jaden said. "We want to encourage kids everywhere to lend a hand and join us in spreading the word about how much children who have been orphaned by AIDS in Africa need our help."
Jaden and Willow have joined other celebrities in autographing custom-designed, one-of-a-kind collectible elephant models that are available in a celebrity charity auction. All funds will be donated to a charity that supports children orphaned by AIDS in Africa.
Willow described their charity of choice, The Chikumbuso Women and Orphan's Project in Zambia.
"Project Zambi is about kids and for kids, and it's so important that we all learn to take care of each other," Willow stated. "Even from the other side of the world, kids in Africa will know they have friends who care about them."
Jada Pinkett-Smith Shows Off Her Shape

Jada Pinkett-Smith flaunts her flawless figure on the cover of the August issue of Shape magazine. In the interview, the 37-year-old mom/actress/singer talks family and fitness, and reveals why her husband of 11 years Will Smith is her perfect match.
Here a few of the highlights:
On keeping her kids (stepson Trey, 16, son Jaden, 11, and daughter Willow, 8) fit: "Sitting at home on a Saturday or Sunday was never an option," says Jada of her own childhood. "[The kids] love to go to the gym with Will and me, but surfing and snowboarding is what we do together as a family for fun."
On managing career and kids: "I won't lie to you. I have a lot of help. It takes a village to run my life successfully!"
On how she and Will complement one another: "Will and I are yin and yang. He's all sky, vast and bright and soaring, and I'm all earth. I'm here to ground him, and he's here to help me fly."
On how they keep their marriage strong: "Last week we were stressed out, so I packed a picnic and took Will to a place we hiked to on one of our first dates. We sat and reminisced on that time in our life. Then we went home and made love. Thank God Will has simple tastes. Even the littlest thing for him is like, ‘Wow!'"
On not being queen of the kitchen: "I can't cook! It's genetic. My grandmother can't cook, my mother can't cook. I was raised to believe you eat because your body needs fuel for energy, so I eat superfoods." Though she does like to bake, she adds she doesn't do it often. "[Will] has a horrific sweet tooth. If there's cake in front of him, he'll eat the whole thing!"
Jada Pinkett-Smith Shares Marriage Advice

Mom Jada Pinkett-Smith graces the cover of the July issue of Redbook. The 37-year-old HawthoRNe star talks to the magazine about the challenge of balancing work and family life, and shares the sexy secrets behind her 11-year marriage to Will Smith.
On her husband: "Will's really smart. He's very conscious and present."
On relationships: "There's a certain amount of safety you have to create for someone to feel like they can be open to you... That's something we forget in marriages and relationships - they have to be places of safety, because they're where you are most vulnerable. If you're not allowed to be safe, I don't know if you can reach the depths of connection that support commitment. You can be committed to somebody because of ego: 'I said I was going to be with this joker for the rest of my life, so I'm just going to do it.' Or you can be committed because you have a deeply rooted connection."
On her tips for keeping the spark alive: "Nice outfits and high heels! And talking. And making time. You've got to make time. Our men want to feel important. We want to feel important. So it's about establishing an environment in which that can happen. It can be hard because we get caught in the grind of life. Establish relationships with family members or friends and take turns with each other's kids so you can make that time for yourselves. It doesn't take a lot of money - wallets are tight right now - so just simple stuff. A night walk? Man, do I love those. Or pack a lunch and go to the park, like Will and I did. Even a drive - and then pull over on the side of the road! Think of places outside that are comfortable to have sex. Does he have access to his office? Have a fantasy date. Be his secretary! Be sneaky. Your girlfriend's house at a party. The bathroom! A guest bedroom! Just switch it up. Anything like that can keep it going. Anything it takes to keep the flame alive."
Jada Pinkett-Smith Consults Her Kids

Before Jada Pinkett-Smith agreed to sign on to star in the new series HawthoRNe, she was sure to get the okay from her family.
"I sat down with kids and my husband and I really asked their permission," the 37-year-old actress tells CNN. "I said 'Listen, there was this show I'd love to do and it will be three months that you might not see Mommy a lot.' And they're looking at me like 'Really? What does that mean?'"
In the end Willow, 8, and Jaden, almost 11, gave their approval – which meant that Jada’s husband Will Smith went on full-time Daddy duty for a while.
"So they get to eat chocolate for breakfast and go to bed whenever they feel like it for those three months while I'm working,” Jada explains. “So, it works out, and they know that the rest of the year, I'm off."
Chocolate for breakfast? Not many kids could say no to that!
Jada’s new series premieres on TNT tomorrow night.

Jada Pinkett Smith's Golden Rules Of Parenting

Jada Says Will Is More Lenient With The Kids

Mother of three children with husband Will Smith - 15-year-old stepson Trey, 10-year-old Jaden, and 7 1/2-year-old Willow - Jada Pinkett Smith, 37, acknowledges that neither she nor Will exert a particularly heavy hand when disciplining their children,
"We're not strict but we definitely believe it's a very important component for rearing children. It creates safety for them. They understand that they need guidance."
Jada says that if one of the kids wants to sneak an extra sweet, she acknowledges with a laugh that her husband is the more lenient one,
"He's so lenient on that stuff," she sighs. "Daddy tends to [say], 'Yeah! Have chocolate cake for dinner! It’s all right with me.' I'll come home and it's just, 'Has anyone had lunch?' 'Yeah, I had some Frosted Flakes!'"
