Will Smith & Son Jaden Get Set To Shoot Sci-Fi Flick

The Smith boys are heading back to the big screen together! Oscar-nominated actor Will Smith and his 13-year-old son, Jaden, have been tapped to co-star in M. Night Shyamalan's latest project, the post-apocalyptic sci-fi film, 1000 A.E.
According to a late night tweet from the director himself, the crew is en route to Costa Rica to prep for shooting, which will begin on February 6th with an anticipated release date of June 2013.

While his little sister Willow was busy working the red carpet at this week's Twilight: Breaking Dawn premiere in LA, 13-year-old Jaden Smith was enjoying some guys' time with his dad Will in Miami, Florida (November 15). The father-son pair were spotted posing for pics with fans as they headed out to grab a bite to eat.
The very talented family all have projects on the go at the moment: Willow and Jaden will be teaming up in the comic-inspired Amulet while their movie star dad is scheduled to soon begin shooting his new drama The Last Pharaoh. Mom Jada Pinkett-Smith, meanwhile, will lend her voice to the animated flick Madagascar 3.

Actor Will Smith is getting ready to team up with his 12-year-old son, Jaden, for their second film together; a science-fiction movie, which director M. Night Shyamalan calls his "dream project."
The yet to be titled picture takes place 1,000 years in the future and tells the story of a young boy, played by Jaden, who travels throughout an abandoned Earth to save himself and his estranged father (Will) after their ship crashes.

The kids of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are making my offspring look downright lazy. Willow Smith, 9, just released the video for her top-20 single Whip My Hair last week and now comes word that big brother Jaden, 11, is in talks to star in M. Night Shyamalan's next film.
The Last Airbender director is said to be working a top-secret sci-fi flick titled One Thousand A.E. and is thinking of casting the young Karate Kid star as the lead.
