"I sing her to sleep, but she cries a lot of the time, she's like 'Waaaa!' and I'm going, 'Don't cry baby.' I don't sing my own songs to her though, there's plenty of time for that."
On nappy (diaper!) changing,
"I taught myself nappies, I'm pretty proud of my nappy changing skills actually."
Choosing a name,
"My girlfriend was just saying, 'I want to call her Elsie', so I just said, 'Whatever.' It's a classic name as well, I think it will see her through until she's an old lady."

UPDATE: Baby's name revealed as Elsie on the singer's blog,
"The birth of little Elsie has been absolutely life changing.Everything has been put into perspective. I now wonder what I was doing with all my spare time ! She's the love of my life and the main focus in my life now other than my music. It has been the most tormenting time of my life waiting for her, but now she's here it's been the best gift I've ever received."British singer James Morrison became a dad for the first time this week as his partner Gill gave birth to a baby girl. James, 24, recently said in an interview with The Daily Mail,
"I'm getting ready to be a father, which is the biggest thing that's ever happened to me. I'm very excited by it, but it also makes it easier to get on with other things. It's not just about me any more."
