Jennifer Garner's Manic Monday

Busy mom Jennifer Garner was pictured picking up her sweet daughter Violet from preschool in Santa Monica, Calif. on Monday (February 8). A friend carried the adorable 4-year-old to the car as Jennifer chatted and smiled with the duo.

Later that night, Jen glammed it up at the premiere of her new flick, Valentine's Day, at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. The mother-of-two looked smashing in a snug-fitting black dress. Valentine's Day - costarring the likes of Julia Roberts, Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba and Patrick Dempsey, to name a few - hits theaters this Friday (February 12).

Garner and her husband, fellow actor Ben Affleck, are also parents to 1-year-old daughter Seraphina.

Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel became fast BFFs while filming their upcoming romantic comedy, Valentine's Day. On a rare girls' night out, the stars dished to Marie Claire about the pros and cons of having a famous significant other and a funny story about Jen's adorable 4-year-old daughter Violet.

"Sorry I'm late, but I got lost and—" Garner stops herself upon seeing Jessica in full makeup and says, "You look gorgeous! And look at me. I didn't even change my clothes to come here," she says in the exhausted-but-happily-so tone of a mother with two young children.

Jessica then shared a sweet story about Jennifer's daughter Violet.

Oh, I heard the sweetest story about Violet the other day. One of Violet's classmates came up to her and said, 'I heard Jennifer Garner lives in your house.' And Violet said, 'No, she doesn't.' The other kid kept insisting, so Violet came home and asked you, 'Mom, who is Jennifer Garner and why are people saying she lives with us?'"

Jennifer Garner enjoyed some one-on-one time with her oldest daughter Violet, 4, today, making their to the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown LA, California (January 23). According to the venue's schedule, the mother-daughter duo were headed to a Los Angeles Philharmonic performance of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, part of the Toyota Symphonies for Youth series.

The Valentine's Day star, who is also mom to 1-year-old daughter Seraphina, recently opened up about a frustrating aspect of motherhood:

I will tell you what I can't abide - and I think the Internet has really created a space for it - women criticizing other women and mothers criticizing other mothers. It just makes me crazy, whether it's between staying at home, going to work, how long you breast-feed, if you use formula. I feel like we should just assume everyone is doing the best they can. Women should take care of each other, not tear each other down. I would just like to see a mother who really believes that she has done it all so right, you know what I mean?"

On the part of motherhood that drives her crazy: "I will tell you what I can't abide - and I think the Internet has really created a space for it - women criticizing other women and mothers criticizing other mothers. Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck and their two gorgeous girls - Violet, 4, and Seraphina, 1 - were seen leaving a building in Los Angeles on Thursday (January 14). Ben had some stern words for the valet guys who did not escort the paparazzi out of the parkade.

The paps first spotted Jen and the two girls entering the building. They waited for the Garflecks to depart to get the family shot.

The day before, the 37-year-old actress made an appearance in her home state of West Virginia to show her support for Save the Children, JustJared reports. Jen lobbied for President Barack Obama and Congress to provide $2 billion in extra funding for education programs.

There is such a need here, and there is so much unmet potential right here in West Virginia,” Jennifer told the Charleston Daily Mail. “The cycle of poverty in this state is going on for generations and generations and generations, and we hope we can provide a new energy to help the kids reach their true potential and avoid that.”

Education is a matter close to Jen's heart! We just saw the Alias star volunteering at the Legends of Learning Foundation in Santa Monica last weekend.
