Jennifer Lopez Covers SHE

Jennifer Lopez Covers SHE

Mom-of-two Jennifer Lopez graces the cover of the November issue of the UK's SHE magazine.

J.Lo is a very busy mom these these days: She's been working with producer Pharrell Williams on a new CD, cheering on her favorite football team the Miami Dolphins (her husband Marc Anthony recently became a partial owner), meeting with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus in Washington, and of course getting back to movie-making.

The Get Right singer tells SHE that becoming a mom to her 20-month-old twins Max and Emme has had a big impact on her career.

"Being a mother has changed the way I look at my work in a very positive way," she explains. "I want to be able to create and be part of things that I know my children will be proud of one day."

Jennifer will be returning to the big screen in next year's The Back-Up Plan.

Jennifer Lopez On Marriage & Motherhood

Jennifer Lopez On Marriage & Motherhood

Jennifer Lopez is the picture of Hollywood glamour on the cover of the September issue of In Style magazine. In the interview, though, the movie star mom - twins Max and Emme are 18 months old - focuses more on family than on fame, opening up about her high profile marriage to singer Marc Anthony, and the profound ways that motherhood has changed her.

"There's nothing as huge as giving birth to another human being and having to be responsible for another life," Jennifer says. "There's you before kids, and there's you after kids – and they're not the same you."

Like most parents, the 40-year-old mom says that becoming a parent has changed her outlook on life.

"It totally changes your perspective on everything. You don't come first anymore. There's somebody else you care more about than yourself."

Happy birthday to Jennifer Lopez, who marked her milestone 40th yesterday.

The mom-of-two showed off her famous curves in a figure-hugging silver dress as she joined her husband Marc Anthony and friends for a birthday bash at the Hotel Griffou in New York's Greenwich Village. It was a far cry from the fake baby bump she's been sporting all week on the set of her new film, The Backup Plan!

Earlier that day Jennifer, who is mom to 17-month-old twins Max and Emme, was surprised on the set with champagne, flowers and a giant chocolate birthday cake featuring a photo of herself.

What do you think of the birthday girl's dazzling look last night?

Jennifer Lopez “Would Love To Have More Kids”

Jennifer Lopez “Would Love To Have More Kids”

Jennifer Lopez is currently working on her first film since the birth of her twins, Emme and Max, last February. In The Backup Plan, Jennifer plays a woman who gets artificially inseminated and coincidentally meets Mr. Right that same day. In a recent interview with Extra’s AJ Calloway, the talented 39-year-old dishes about babies, motherhood and getting back in shape after her pregnancy. She also discusses whether she and husband Marc Anthony are planning on expanding their family: “I would love to have more kids,” says Jennifer. “I don’t know if we will. I don’t know if that’s in the cards for us but we’ll see.”

On how it felt to go back to work after having the twins: “Staying home with the kids and watching everything they do. It’s fun… I can never sit totally still… [Filming] was actually perfect… I enjoyed the time with the babies.”

On losing the baby weight: “Just like everybody else, the first big amount of pounds comes off pretty quickly and then you have those last 10 or 20, 15 or 20 that just don’t want to go and you have to work really hard and I had to work really hard too. I had to diet and work out. I had to do a lot.”

On being able to bring her children to work with her: “They’ve been with me almost every day on the set. I don’t think [they realize what I do]. Once in awhile, they look at the monitor and go, ‘Mama.’ They’re just starting to talk.”

On how fast her children are growing up: “They’re more than walking now… They’re starting to talk. I put Max to bed yesterday… and I said, ‘I love you baby. I’ll see you tomorrow.’ And he was like, ‘I love you.’”

On her biggest lesson learned as a mother: “You just mature so quickly in such a deep way and you think life is short and you have to just go for things. You can’t be afraid to try or do your best….Just do it and that’s the example I want to set for my children as well. It’s like you can do anything. The only thing that ever holds us back is fear… It’s a useless emotion.”

J-Lo Introduces Eau de Baby Mama

Jennifer Lopez is all set launch the sixth fragrance in her best-selling Glow collection. The latest addition to the line-up is called My Glow to symbolize J-Lo’s latest incarnation as mother to twins Max and Emme.

My Glow captures not only the sense of well-being that the 39-year-old mom experienced while carrying her twins, but also the joy that she has discovered since their birth back in February 2008. With a bottle cap shaped like a set of wings and an ad campaign that features J-Lo beaming at a little infant, the perfume clearly embodies Jennifer’s statement that “every baby is an angel.”

Due out in October, the new scent completes J-Lo’s transformation from supervixen to supermom.

Jennifer Lopez Was "Really Nervous" To Return To Work

After taking time off from movie-making to focus on being a new mom to twins Max and Emme, now 15 months, Jennifer Lopez admits she was nervous to return to work.

“The few days before I got really nervous I was like, what if I forgot how to act? What if I can't remember my lines?” she tells Entertainment Tonight.

Turns out she didn't have anything to worry about. Jennifer, who is currently shooting The Back-Up Plan, now says that the transition to being a working mom was pretty painless.

“I bring the babies to work with me. I love it. Actually, one of the best days of my life was the first day back working on this film. I wanted to do this film really badly, and bringing my babies with me that morning, I was like, ‘Oh my God, they’re with me, I’m making a movie, they’re here!’ It’s great having kids on set. It’s the best.”
